Surrounded by beautiful Devonshire hills guests can let off steam in the fresh air whilst enjoying our orchard play area. Our adventure play ground allows children's imagination to run wild as they create their own stories whilst having fun. Become a 'mountaineer' and scale the Pinnacle rock wall or scramble up the rope ladder into the skybox. Here you could become a 'pirate' and look across the fields beyond for those pirate ships! Descend via the fireman's pole, sail down the wavy slide or become a wriggly worm and slither from top to bottom in our enclosed turbo slide.
Our sand pit allows for those smaller guests to dig for treasure and play in the enclosed ground floor area.
Wooden seating area for guests to watch the spectacle.
Our impressive self-catering accommodation has the added benefits of an off the road large Orchard area.
We have developed this wonderful outside space for children or adults alike to run around having endless fun and hours of entertainment in the fresh air.
Guests are welcome to bring their own recreational games, but we endeavour to provide some of the essentials for those family friendly holidays.
Ample space for a great game of football and "anyone for cricket"?. Score a hit in our tree basket ball hoop, swing ball fun, fling a Frisby or bowls?
After a long day visiting the many attractions that the West Country has to offer, why not enjoy a few 'bubbles' in our 6 person hot tub, equally enjoyable on a cold winters day with snow on the ground or a balmy summers evening. Just sit back and unwind from the stresses of everyday life and enjoy ultimate relaxation. Our enclosed, gated, garden allows guests with smaller children to enjoy the facilities without any added worries.
Two large locally made wooden benches sit on stone chipped paving allowing all our guests to sit together and enjoy al fresco eating and socialising whilst capturing the lovely valley views.
With minimal light pollution and on a clear, cloudless night you can literally see thousands of stars and astronomical sights so star gazing is a must. You might even be lucky enough to catch a shooting star.
Barbeque available from 1st April until 1st November.
While the smaller guests are playing on our adventure play ground, parents can sit on locally made wooden benches and enjoy watching the smiles on their faces and the stories they've made. Should guests wish a picnic can be enjoyed here.
The orchard offers some beautiful views of rolling Devonshire hills, so for the less energetic guest, simply roll out a blanket and sit under the ancient apple tree whilst reading a book and enjoy watching the sights and sounds of nature.
Guests are very welcome to gather up the fallen apples and make some lovely desserts in The Elms self-catering kitchen.
